Maharishi Global Country of World Peace

On October 12, 2000, Maharishi founded the Global Country of World Peace to create peace, perpetual peace on earth. This Global Country has no boundaries, and every peace-loving person on earth is its citizen. Its administration will awaken the Cosmic potential of every human being as the unbounded ocean of peace, harmony and unity, and organize groups of peace-creating professionals to create an integrated, harmonious collective consciousness in every country and in the world as a whole.

The Global Country of World Peace, a nation without borders, will provide a global home for peace-loving people everywhere." Its purpose is, in part, to reduce the divisive influence of nationalism and national borders, which "arbitrarily separate humanity from humanity."

A More Effective System of Administration

The Global Country of World Peace is founded upon a new science of administration, based upon the most up-to-date understanding of the laws of nature from the combined standpoints of modern science and the Vedic Science of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

Due to the persistent failure of national administrations based upon manmade laws and constitutions conceived in the minds of men, and due to the pressing need for a more effective system of administration, Maharishi conceived of a new nation whose administration is based, not on man-made law, but on Natural Law, the vast organizing intelligence that governs the universe with absolute efficiency and perfect order.

During the past two decades, modern science has discovered the Unified Field – a single, universal field of Nature’s intelligence at the basis of all forms and phenomena in the Universe. This discovery of the Unified Field and the laws governing its self-interaction marks the scientific discovery of what can be termed the "Constitution of the Universe" – the foundational level of Natural Law, from which all the laws of nature spring. The Constitution of the Global Country of World Peace is the Constitution of the Universe itself–the totality of Natural Law–which administers the ever-expanding universe with perfect order and without a problem.

Modern science has also determined that the Unified Field is fundamentally a field of consciousness. The Vedic Science of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is a complete science of consciousness – a complete science of the Unified Field and its practical applications. Maharishi’s Vedic Science reveals that the Unified Field of consciousness is the field of Veda. The Veda and Vedic literature is the Constitution of the Universe – the self-interacting dynamics of consciousness, the Unified Field, which is Total Natural Law.

The discovery by His Majesty Raja Ram, the foremost scientist of our generation, under Maharishi’s inspiration and guidance, of the Constitution of the Universe – the Totality of Natural Law – the Veda and Vedic Literature – at the basis of the human physiology has made it practically possible to enlist the total organizing power of Natural Law in the administration of any nation, and thus to establish a supreme quality of administration – perfect administration – in the family of nations. His Majesty is the first scientific ruler who, through his world-transforming discovery, is uniquely qualified among all the world’s scientists, scholars and leaders to administer the world through Natural Law, and to bring lasting peace and supreme fulfillment to the world’s six billion citizens.

On the basis of his discovery, His Majesty was crowned The First Sovereign Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on the 12th of October, 2000.

On the 12th of January, 2001, Maharishi proclaimed the fulfillment of his 50 years of teaching Transcendental Meditation and his Vedic Science throughout the world. "Through the window of science – both modern science and ancient Vedic science – I see that ‘Peace Perpetual’ has effectively been achieved. It is inevitable, now that the Global Country of World Peace, with its supreme principles of administration through Natural Law, and the capable leadership of the world’s foremost scientist, His Majesty, will at last bring an end to the age-old history of negativity and conflict, and usher in a new dawn of peace and prosperity in the family of nations."
