The Application of Vedic Sounds

Once the consciousness of the farmer is developed through Maharishi’s Technologies of Consciousness, he will be in a position to use the sounds of Veda and the Vedic Literature to directly enliven the specific Laws of Nature responsible for growth and perfect development in plants and animals. Maharishi has explained that the sounds of Veda and the Vedic Literature are the reverberations of Natural Law itself, and therefore their enlivenment will naturally promote growth and evolution throughout the environment.

Science reveals that transformations in any system take place through “phase transitions,” which are very delicate in nature and able to produce far-reaching consequences at the critical points of transformation. Today’s agriculture addresses each delicate phase in the life cycle of a plant with partial, fragmented, unbalanced and incomplete values of Natural Law. As a result, the plant loses its connection with total Natural Law. The structure, function, and nutritional quality of the plant necessarily suffers simply because the intelligence guiding the growth of the plant at that critical time in its development is not complete, and in the case of chemical agriculture is often harmful.
